laminated spruce trusses

Our company, Fratelli Cremona, also supplies laminated wood, a special product resulting from a laminating and gluing process.

In fact, through the laminating process it is possible to eliminate all of the defected parts of the timber, while the gluing recreates continuity between one sheet and another, obtaining a superior adhesion to the existing one and, therefore, increased resistance.

Laminated wood is widely used because it has the aesthetic characteristics of solid wood without defects, cracks and other negative factors.

Laminated spruce and larch beams are available in stock in lengths of up to 22 m, thicknesses of 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28 cm and in heights from 10 to 120 cm, with which it is possible to obtains sections to satisfy all of our customers' requirements, even the most particular. The beams are certified according to DIN standards. Our company makes a copy of the tables needed to calculate their size as a function of light and load available to technicians.
